Mariela Barreto's journey in healthcare began with a passion for caring for others, leading her to pursue health studies. After migrating to Canada, she completed her Personal Support Worker course in 2010. With over 23 years of experience, she noticed the revolving door of PSWs in the healthcare system and, alongside her daughters, started PSW to the Rescue. Our focus is on continuity of care, client independence, and promoting caregiver support continuity.

Vanessa completed a Personal Support Worker course in 2010 and has since pursued additional training to assist clients with dementia and Alzheimers. Recognized as the LHIN's Hero in the Home from 2012 to 2019, Vanessa's unique approach involves sending pictures and videos to keep family members and primary caregivers connected to their loved ones' experiences.

Maria discovered her passion for helping others and providing quality companionship care. Maria's commitment to her purpose led her to pursue legal studies and work with PSW to the Rescue as our Client Solutions Manager. In this role, she ensures all client inquiries are handled with the best interests of all parties in mind, demonstrating her problem-solving skills and commitment to our mission.
